Great vacuum cleaner

This is a very good buy. I found it at Walmart for 60 dollars though. I checked, and its the same model. Better air filter (HEPA) than the one I bought in 2004. VERY PLEASED

It works, until the brush dies...

I purchased this item from Walmart for $59.96 back on May 5th, 2012 as a replacement for another Bissell that had the motor die. On Jan 17th, 2013 the brush on this model had died, and I got Bissell to send me a free replacement, their replacement died today, April 21, 2013... and they charged $22.43 for another replacement brush... I've had really good luck with a previous vacuum model, but this one isn't good... It has great suction when the filters are all cleaned and such, but after one vacuuming the filters are clogged again... it still works, but has less suction. If you don't mind a high maintenance vacuum that requires you to clean the brush every time and clean the filters every other time, then this works well for a cheap $60 vacuum. However, if you have to get 1 or 2 brush replacements, you might have well just bought a new one...As a note, the house has high levels of long cat hair and human hair that easily get tangled in the roller brush. If there wasn't the hair issue, I think this would work far better, but still had fast clogging filters. This is my third Bissell vacuum, but I am thinking that I will try another more expensive brand once this one does... hopefully one that has less hair clogging brushes...The model number is 68C7.On the bright side, this new helix style does improve things far better then the non-helix style. It has a very long cord (~21ft), and the attachment tool works well. The belt holds up well, and the filters are easy to get to and clean; the brush is not easy to get to or clean however.... If it wasn't for the brushes dieing so quickly, I would have no complaints.
