Wow, I love this vacuum! I got a new apartment that has 4 rooms, a bathroom and kitchen. The place was so dirty when I moved in, I knew I needed a powerful dirt eating ally. This vacuum works wonders. I have a mix of hardwood and carpet. I also have stairs. Since it's an older house renovated many times, there are a lot of cracks/crevices. This vacuum helped save me so much time. It really is very versatile, and the quick release handle is a life saver. I feel like it is really getting the carpets clean! I even did the "change test" and threw some change onto the floor. This machine picked it all up in one fell swoop! Amazing. the suction is much more powerful than other vacuums. The only thing that beats it would be like a shop vac, or much more expensive (like miele) canister vac. This machine has everything I need in a vacuum and is great for an upright: Brush head (with other vacs, you have to pay extra for this), mini tools that make life easier, extending wand, hepa filter (I have wicked allergies), save on the cost of bags (bag less), etc. I really like this vacuum. Also the hepa filter is washable, which is nice. I am also a sucker for design. This is something that I can leave out, because it looks so cool! There is a bright headlight so you can see where you are cleaning, even in low light. The other lights on the machine are blue, and look amazing next to the green. I am in love :) Ohhh, and did I mention how quiet this vacuum is? Yes, it still sounds like a vacuum, but the one I had before, I couldn't run it at night, because I was worried about my neighbors downstairs. Now I can run this one even when I get home late at night!

I wanted SO BADLY to love this vacuum cleaner. With 2 large dogs, 2 cats, and 2 long-haired girls in the house, I thought the brushroll cleaner had to be the best invention EVER, but this vacuum has just turned out to be a huge disappoinment.I use my vacuum wand a LOT, so I was excited about this vacuum having the quick-release wand and a super super long hose. But the wand is WORTHLESS. With the suction set on "full", I can hold it directly on top of a crumb and it WON'T pick it up. If I hold my hand over the opening, I can feel a small amount of suction, but if it's not strong enough to pick up a CRUMB, then it's useless. The bagless canister has a handy button that makes the bottom fall open, but then nothing comes out. I've tried emptying it at various stages of "fullness", and no matter what, I have to reach my hand into the canister to dig out the debris. GROSS!! Also, it's pretty small, so I usually have to empty it at least once in the middle of cleaning.Oh, and the wonderful brushroll cleaner that was the entire reason I bought this vacuum...meh. I'd say it got maybe 3/4 of the hair and fur off, but then I had to take it apart to clean the rest. This vacuum will be going back.
