Eureka Light Speed 200 12 amps Upright Red Vac

The Eureka Light Speed 200 has 12 amps of maximum power. It comes with a short hose and one extention tube. It also comes with a small narrow attachable brush, and a telescope self cleaning duster.The vac is bagless with a large filter. The vac has five levels of adjustments from low carpet to high carpet. The vac has two large rear wheels, two tiny center wheels, and one large rolling brush.It has a clear easy to empty canister with a very large filter.The suction is adequate for carpets only.I purchased the vac at a Big clearance center chain in Florida for around $65.00 plus tax. The vac's self cleaning telescope duster is not very useful.The hose is much shorter than conventional vacs, and it does not handle any differently than its weighter counterparts. It is just as heavy as my older larger vac.It does not work well on tile or wood floors. It does not reach into corners, and does not work on uneven flooring (tile grooves).Most Florida homes have a mixture of carpet and tile flooring in the floor plan. The van sucks up the larger debris, and tosses the smaller debris out the back under the wheels.The debris hits your ankles with a stinging sensation. The hose often slips out of the casing and the debris is flung all over the place.The hose simply will not stay in place. So you have to be conscious of checking it every second. I will go ahead and spend the extra dollars for an upgrade.I waste time using this product. It takes too long to vac the house and it does not work on tile or wood flooring. Therefore, I give this vac a 0/5 rating.

This vac works REALLY well but you have to empty the canister all the time or it will clog where it connects to the vacuum. I can't believe how much hair and dust I get from one vacuuming (I live in Arizona and have housepets) so for that reason I feel it is a good product, despite the inconvenience of having to dump the cannister part and shake out the filter. I reuse the filter by detaching it and hitting it on my garbage can, and oh my gosh the dust that it picks up. It is light, not too noisy, and has been trouble free for me with heavy use. We broke the belt the first day but never since then so it was our fault. I have gotten my money's worth for sure from this item which I bought at Sam's club. I agree with the other review that the telescoping feather duster is basically worthless, but I use my hose attachment all the time. I sweep my floors into a pile and pick everything up with the vac hose. The only vac better than this one would be one with more power, but even in a dirty house like mine this is great.
