Unbelievably loud

I bought this vacuum recently. This vacuum is horribly LOUD. EARPIERCING LOUD!!!I have only used it twice. The first time it was so loud, I thought my husband had put it together wrong. I checked the box & theres not a whole lot to put together. Today was the second time I used it & I seriously thought my ears were going to bleed it was so loud!. Don't waste your money.

This purchase has been the biggest disappointment. It is unbelievably loud. Very Heavy. It leaves marks when I push it across the hard wood floor. Before I turn it on dust from the inside will just drop out the bottom (like when I take it out of the closet to begin cleaning). It becomes clogged up after every vacuuming. The bagless part of the vacuum is designed to empty from the bottom, which is the equivalent of opening a soda can while it is upside down. The hose has to be unclogged constantly and still doesn't have enough suction for the connecting parts to even work. And I want to reiterate this vacuum is soooo loud. I purchased this less than a year ago... I recommend a Eureka.

Avoid this vacuum

I just purchased this TONIGHT and it wouldn't even start. I then waited for a few minutes and replugged it in and then it finally worked.....for about 10 minutes and completly stopped working. I have never had to write a review like this before but this just is absurd. I am taking it back tomorrow! Also, the suction actually is not that great and my previous vacuum was a Bisell and it worked great so I am going back to my tried and true. This is not worth your money, time or loyalty to this product. I am sure other Dirt Devil products are good but this vacuum just sucked but not in the way you want a vacuum cleaner to suck.
