By J. Amaro
I had my doubts. The price seemed too low, yet the machine looked great. When I plugged it in, the motor was obviously powerful and the Breeze did a great job cleaning the carpet. The attachment hose has greater suction than any I've seen and gets corners and edges free of dust. This vacuum is lightweight. I actually vacuum more often because it is easier to maneuver.Forget about bag-less vacuums. They look high tech on the shelves, but once used, they look dirty ever after. When you dump out the dust canister, you'll get dust in your face. Who needs that? Vacuum engineers, if you're reading this, get rid of bag-less vacuums. I dread the day when there will be no bagged vacuums. You guys are supposed to make things better!Meanwhile, my bagged Breeze looks sleek, bright and clean. And the price is amazing. The question, however, is longevity. The machine feels sturdy enough to last a long time. Time will tell, however.Update: Today's date is January 2013. The Dirt Devil is still going strong with no problems.

By E. Lee
Yes, I realize that this is a $40 vacuum. I didn't really have a high expectation. However, there's no excuse for some of the design decisions they've made on this product. I'll list some I have problem with.1) They put the exhaust vent facing forward directly above the light. If you can imagine, the air from the vent blows everything away, especially on the hardwood floors. What the heck were they thinking?2) Attachments are not designed well. The brush attachment slides off. I guess they thought it would be convenient to have it removable. However, it comes off so easily. When you're cleaning the stairs, the attachment just comes right off if with a little bit of force. I had to keep putting it back over and over again.3) Auto height adjustment sounds great but it doesn't work. Once again, on the hardwood floor, the bristles are spinning so fast and hard, it just kicks everything around instead of sucking in.These are what I found after about 15 minutes of use after I bought it. It's as if they just put some parts together and put it out on the market.Once again, I understand it's a $40 vacuum but it's almost as if they wanted to make it difficult for you for buying a cheaper product instead of something more expensive. Cheaper design doesn't have to be a stupid design. It's worse because it's as if they never tested this product before they put it out. Or they just didn't care, I guess.I will be returning this as soon as I can.

Pretty sure this is the same vac I've been buying for years and this is 3X! as much as what I pay!! Love the bagged non mess and price- great suction- when it loses strength I get a new one (about every 2 years). Bags are 3 for $5 which is actually a great deal considering that all the bagless vacs I've tried dirty up what I just cleaned and stop working well anyway
