Fatal design flaw

Some things I like about this vacuum - it's light, easy to clean out the hopper, cord retract works well, and accessories are integrated nicely.But the fatal design flaw is that the vacuum exhaust is directed to the front, and low, right at the ground in front of the vacuum. What this does is blow any light dirt, lint, hair, etc out of the way of the vacuum cleaner. You have to chase the light stuff into a corner of the room, and use the hose attachment...and then repeat for the other corners, go back to the original corner to suck up the light stuff that was blown up in the air by the vacuum.....and repeat. And repeat. Until you give up.I'd give this thing a thumbs up, but at this point I'm tossing it and looking for another vacuum that doesn't create more work for me.

Got a much cheaper version of this vacuum at Walmart. It is great! It has good suction, haven't experienced the belt coming off yet. Is easy to move about. Has a small clip on handle to clip the power cord to to keep it away from the vacuum and up high. Power rewind is great, I'm old and can't stoop too much. Love it!

Disappointed

I have used Hoover vacuums and have ALWAYs been very satisfied with them. I currently also have a Hoover WindTunnel PAWS and it is phenomenal. I was thinking the Whole Home would have to be just as good or better. I was wrong. when it is working...which is about 50 % of the time..it is great. But the belt comes off of the brush roll every other use. I have had the vacuum for 1 month and i have had to disassemble the head and reattach the brush roller belt 5 times!maybe mine is just a lemon.... but I cannot advise anyone to purchase this vacuum
